Good morning! Here are the plays everybody will be talking about Tuesday.

Steve Ballmer dunked and everybody wins. During a ceremony at halftime, the Los Angeles Clippers unveiled a new mascot. As part of the show, owner Steve Ballmer told the crowd that if he could dunk, everybody in the arena (~19,000 fans) would win a free pair of Converse sneakers. He flew. He made a dunk face. He dunked. We all win.

The ugly side of Boogie. DeMarcus Cousins is one of the most talented big men in the NBA. He also seems like a ticking time bomb who could go off at any moment. That was never more evident than late in the Sacramento Kings' blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. You could see Cousins starting to get frustrated at the other end of the court, slapping at Steven Adams on a rebound. Moments later, on a missed shot, Adams fell to the floor. He may have grabbed Boogie's foot and Boogie nearly punched Adams in the back of the head. The fist was cocked before he changed his mind. A foul was called on Adams and the Kings were given a technical for delaying the game.

We've seen that pickoff attempt before. Rice pitcher Blake Fox caused some buzz with a nifty little pickoff move in which he tricked the runner into thinking he was just wiping some sweat off his head. Crafty. It was a move he borrowed from Major League pitcher Alex Torres, who used the move back in 2013 while pitching for the Tampa Bay Rays. In both cases it looked neat, but failed to work (video via Jacquelyn Davis and MLB.com).
