A triple-OT thriller in college basketball. It was No. 1 versus No. 2 in college basketball and the game lived up to the billing and then some as top-ranked Kansas took on Oklahoma at home. The game went into triple-overtime and didn't end until Kansas took a 3-point lead and gambled by not fouling on the Sooners' final possession. Instead of sending Oklahoma to the line for two free throws, Kansas let the Sooners run a play, but they never got off a good shot and it was game over.

Bad call leads to great eruption. Earlier in the same game, the officials called a fall on Kansas on what looked to be a clean steal of the basketball. Kansas coach Bill Self, who was already in the ear of the official when the foul was called, BLEW UP, and got a quick technical foul. It was a costly one also as a 1-point with a few seconds left in the half became a 4-point halftime lead for Oklahoma.
