Team GB has certainly made an impression at the Rio Olympic Games.

So far, British athletes have scooped up 22 gold medals, 21 silver medals, and 13 bronze medals in the competition.

As the end of the 2016 Olympics gets closer, we've compiled a list of the top gold medal-winning athletes from Team GB, highlighting the incredible moments that made them winners.

From a record-smashing cyclist who dominates the racing track to a gymnast who has pulled off gravity-defying stunts, here are Team GB's top Olympians:
