WWDC is a celebration of all things Apple, with CEO Tim Cook and other executives taking their moment in the spotlight to show off just how big and influential the company is nowadays.
But while we get ready to get hyped for Apple, it's worth taking a moment to remember that the company has a long, weird history that goes back to the seventies.
"Weird" is the right word for it, too: Over the course of the last 40 years, Apple has found itself in some wacky, wild, and just plain strange situations, from releasing a fashion brand to almost dying to looming under Bill Gates' giant head.
