To mark the occasion, the six-second video platform released a list of the 10 most popular Vines from the past year.
Twitter bought Vine in October 2012, months before it officially launched. Now, it's used the world over to share real-time looping news events as well as less serious videos.
It's worth noting that none of Vine's 10 most popular videos of the past year were made by Vine "stars" like Lele Pons or Logan Paul.
Instead, most seem to be homegrown, candid videos. A couple also appear to be ripped from news broadcasts.
