Tesla Earns Surprise Profit
Tesla just reported third quarter earnings.
Revenue beat expectations, at $932 million for the quarter. EPS was 2 cents.
Analysts expected a loss of 1 cent per share, against a gain of 12 cents for the same period last year.
All eyes are on Tesla sales. There has been speculation and reporting - disputed by Tesla CEO Elon Musk - that U.S. demand for Tesla's Model S sedan is weakening.
Tesla expects to sell 35,000 cars worldwide and over 17,000 in the U.S. in 2015.
We'll update this post as we learn more.
