Yahoo's Slick New Weather App Is A Smart Way To Get People Using More Yahoo Apps

At first it looks like you're getting some standard Yahoo colors and designs.

Then you see this screen which gives you instructions on how to you use the app. (Totally unnecessary, you can figure it out.)

And here's the app. It uses photos from Flickr as the background.

As you scroll down, you get the five day forecast as well as an hourly break down. It's similar to Apple's stock weather app with the hourly weather scrolling from left to right.

Below the five day, you get more details on wind and daylight.

You can rearrange the panels by dragging them around.

It you swipe to the right, you get this menu which shows you different Yahoo apps. If this weather app is a hit it should feed into other Yahoo apps.

Here's my "weather" folder where I keep a bunch of weather apps. I'll probably stick with TWC since it's the most accurate, but this Yahoo app is nice.
