Isn't it gorgeous? It's hard to imagine this looking much better on an updated console.

Later, in December of 2014, Aonuma showed a hands-on demo of the game with Shigeru Miyamoto, a legendary designer behind almost every major Nintendo franchise.

Nintendo has confirmed that "The Legend of Zelda" will be its one and only playable game at E3 this June.

Unfortunately, Nintendo has said NX will not have a presence at E3 this year. But maybe, just maybe, we will get our first glimpse of what "The Legend of Zelda" will look like running on that upgraded hardware.

Given how gorgeous its looked the past two times we've seen it, it's hard to imagine "The Legend of Zelda" looking much better, but I look forward to being proven wrong.
