Exchanging the soon to be defunct Rs 2,000 notes one processes can be a hassle amidst one’s daily packed hustle and bustle. Now, Amazon has made an announcement regarding this to help with the process. The central bank of India has provided a window until September 30 for individuals to deposit or exchange their existing notes.

Given the challenges faced by many individuals in exchanging or depositing their notes at banks, Amazon has introduced an initiative to facilitate the process for its customers. According to Amazon's official statement, customers will now have the option to use their Rs. 2,000 notes for topping up their Amazon Pay balances during cash-on-delivery orders. Any remaining change will be loaded into their Amazon Pay wallet.

To ensure a smooth process, Amazon has set a maximum limit of Rs. 50,000 per month that customers can deposit, which includes notes of the Rs. 2,000 denomination. This initiative aims to provide convenience and flexibility to customers who are seeking to convert their Rs. 2,000 notes into a digital form.
