You can now turn off autoplay previews in Netflix, here’s how to do it

Streaming giant Netflix has finally given in to a long-standing user demand. Netflix users now get an option to toggle auto playing previews as well as next episodes. Thankfully, users can turn off either one or both the features, so you can still allow next episodes to be played automatically, while turning off annoying previews.
As per Netflix, the autoplay feature was intended to help make it “faster and easier for our members to find titles tailored to their tastes.” However, not all users liked this feature.
Making the announcement, Netflix acknowledged that not all of its members like the autoplay feature. The autoplay settings can be managed by logging into your account on the Netflix website.

Netflix has added that “There may be a delay before the setting takes effect. You can force an update by switching to another profile, then switching back in order to reload your profile with the updated setting.”

- Sign in to your Netflix account from a web browser.
- Select the profile and click on ‘Manage Profiles’ from the settings menu.
- Select the profile to be updated.
- Now, disable the check box for autoplay previews.
