Xiaomi Smarter Living 2022: Mi Notebooks launched with Mi Band 6, Mi TV 5X, Mi Router and more

Xiaomi today concluded its Smarter Living 2022 — the company’s event focused on smart home and IoT products. The company launched six products, including the much-awaited upgrades to its TV and laptop lineup — the Mi TV 5X series and the Mi NoteBook series. The other products include the Mi Band 6, Mi Router 4A and Mi 360 Home Security Camera 2K Pro along with its second-gen Running Shoes.

Here’s everything that Xiaomi launched today:

Mi Notebook 2021 laptops


The Mi Notebook Pro will be available for a starting price of ₹56,999 for a laptop featuring an 11th Generation Intel i5 processor and 8GB RAM. The 16GB RAM variant will retail at ₹59,999. The Mi Notebook Pro will sport a 14-inch QHD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB colour gamut and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It comes integrated with Intel Iris Xe GPU. The laptop is said to be powered by a 56Whr battery that should deliver a battery life of up to 11 hours.

The Mi Notebook Ultra will be available at a starting price of ₹59,999 for the model featuring an 11th Gen Intel i5 processor and 8GB RAM. The laptop is said to feature a 15.6-inch QHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB colour gamut and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The display offers a 3.2K (3200x2000p) resolution along with low blue light protection for the safety of your eyes. The laptop comes with a 70Whr battery that claims to deliver 12 hours of battery backup.

Both the laptops come with a backlit keyboard and an in-built 720p webcam, which was missing on last year’s Horizon laptops from the company.

Mi TV 5X series
The upgrade to Mi TV 4X brings plenty of new features such as the PatchWall 4, adaptive brightness and integrated IMDb ratings. The smart TV is said to feature a 4K UHD (3840x2160p) display that supports HDR 10. It offers Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision support that claims to offer a personalised viewing experience.

The TV is said to deliver powerful sound with 40W stereo speakers. The TV offers both wall-mounted and table-mounted set-up. The metal finish and minimal bezels are said to enhance the aesthetic appeal of your room.

Mi Band 6

The Mi Band 6 has launched in India at a price of ₹3,499. The fitness band features a 1.56-inch full-screen AMOLED touch display that is said to come with a unique running track-shaped design. It claims to offer 50% more space than the Mi Band 5. It offers SpO2 monitoring that should help monitor blood oxygen levels. It is said to be 5ATM water-resistant and can be worn while swimming. The band has 80 customisable watch faces and comes with 30 fitness modes to track various activities.

Mi Router 4A Gigabit Edition
The Mi Router 4A is priced at ₹2,199 in India. The router is said to offer 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands with an overall bandwidth of 1167Mbps speed. It should provide faster connectivity and the reach is enhanced with the four antennae. The router can be set up with the Mi Wi-Fi App that lets users control the operations of the router from anywhere. It comes with features such as parental control, suspicious device alert and a heat sink to keep the device cool during its operation.

Mi 360 Home Security Camera 2K Pro
The Mi security camera is priced at ₹4,499 and comes with some enhanced features. The camera can record videos at 2K and comes with two mics. It is said to deliver a good performance in low-light conditions using the night vision mode. It works with both Alexa and Google Assistant. The camera can provide a full 360-degree horizontal coverage that can be used for your home’s security. It can be controlled using the Mi Home App.

Xiaomi Running Shoes

Xiaomi has launched its second running shoes in the country. The shoes are priced at ₹2,699 and are said to be lightweight and flexible. It features a reflective Xiaomi logo to add safety for night and comes with protection against odour causing bacteria.
