X is reportedly considering a Tulsi Gabbard show
Elon Musk's X has considered some sort of a talk show or video deal with former Democratic candidate Tulsi Gabbard, according to the The Wall Street Journal.
From the Journal:
The article focuses on X CEO Linda Yaccarino leaning on her TV roots (she was formerly an executive at NBC Universal) to revive ad revenue for X through partnerships with sports brands like the NFL, NBA, and soccer.
It also mentions that X, formerly Twitter, was in talks with Tucker Carlson over a partnership for his show — something that might be popular with users, but poison for advertisers who avoided his show on Fox News. Carlson was fired from Fox News last spring. In April, he started streaming a version of a show on the X platform.
Gabbard has done a lot of media since leaving Congress in 2021. She made a short-lived podcast last year, and signed a deal with Fox News as a contributor in 2022, appearing on a variety of shows.
