The Mobile World Congress is the largest mobile phone exhibition globally, where major Android smartphone manufacturers gather to showcase and introduce their latest technologies. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, MWC experienced a hiatus for two years, and its 2022 event was smaller in scale than prior years.

The Mobile World Congress was once the major event for premier device reveals by big names like Samsung. However, most manufacturers now opt to introduce their flagship products individually. For instance, Oppo Find N2 Flip's global launch was held on 15 February, while Samsung unveiled its Galaxy S23 series earlier in the same month. Nevertheless, we are aware of at least five other Android phone manufacturers participating in the event.
