There are plenty of features that were promised by Apple across its OS releases at the WWDC21 keynote. However, plenty of them are still missing. Let’s take a look at them.

This new feature will allow users to drag-and-drop documents, files across the iPad, iMac and MacBooks seamlessly.

This feature is expected in the Wallet app and it would allow users to store digital IDs such as their driving license, PAN card, on their iPhone.

Another Wallet app feature, it will allow you to open your hotel room using your iPhone or Apple Watch. This will need collaboration from hotels, and Hyatt hotels would be the first one to support it.

The iCloud Private Relay is an extra layer of security. When enabled, it does not show the user’s real IP address to third-party servers.

According to Apple, you would be able to “explore cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and London with unprecedented detail for elevation, roads, trees, buildings, landmarks, and more.”

This feature is expected soon and it will allow you to designate people as Legacy Contacts. The designated person can access your account and data in the event of your death.

This update will allow users to create apps using their iPad. The apps can also be sent to Apple for review.

While some of these features are already in their beta version, the others are expected to arrive sometime in 2022.
