emojis to express themselves.
Users can add the new emoji reactions to both text and media messages either on the web or the app. Users on the older versions of the Android or iOS app will see reactions displayed as text-based messages.
What are the emojis
Twitter has added seven emoji reactions:
- Laughing emoji
- Shocked emoji
- Crying emoji
- Heart
- Fire
- Thumbs up
- Thumbs down
Using Twitter emoji reactions is quite simple. Make sure you are on the latest version of Twitter for Android or iOS.
- Open the message in which you want to use emoji reactions.
- Now, double tap the message or click on the heart-plus icon beside the message.
- Now, select the emoji you want to use.
- You can also change the emoji or remove the previous emoji.
Interestingly, you can also react to your own messages and both users can react to the same message. Every time you use an emoji reaction or change the emoji, the recipient gets a notification.
