When you're looking for an Airbnb, the location's features, location, and price are probably some of the first factors you'll take into consideration.
But having a great - or terrible - host can also make or break your stay.
Airbnb recently released a list showing the rentals with the most hospitable hosts in all 50 US states for 2021. To make the cut, hosts had to have 100% 5-star ratings in the categories of cleanliness, communication, and check-in, with a minimum of 100 reviews.
In states where multiple hosts reached this standard, the host with the most reviews took the crown. This was the case in several states - California and North Carolina had the greatest number of eligible hosts, with 35 apiece. North Carolina's most hospitable host has a whopping 530 reviews, the most of any host in the US.
In total, 310 hosts qualified for the list. Here are the 50 that reigned victorious, by state:
