OnePlus TV Y1S 32-inch is priced at ₹16,499, while the 43-inch variant is priced at ₹26,999. On the other hand, the OnePlus TV Y1S Edge 32-inch is priced at ₹16,999, and its 43-inch variant is priced at ₹27,999. The former will be available to purchase via the official website, Amazon, Flipkart, and leading offline retailers. The latter will only be available to purchase offline through official OnePlus stores and leading retailers. Both OnePlus smart TVs will go on sale on Monday, February 21.
The Oneplus TV Y1S and Oneplus TV Y1S Edge feature a bezel-less display for an immersive viewing experience. The Smart TVs also come with a 64-bit processor which OnePlus claims can offer 30 percent better performance than the predecessor. These smart TVs also feature an enhanced gamma engine which makes sure the picture quality is crisp and vibrant. It supports HDR 10 and HDR 10+ format for better details, colours and sharpness. In terms of software, both run Android TV 11 and also Dolby Audio support.
The smart TVs come with built-in Google Assistant support. There is also an auto latency mode (ALLM) that OnePlus claims to improve the gaming experience by reducing latency and enhancing framerates. The TVs support OnePlus Connect which simply means you can connect and control your TV's content easily using a Oneplus phone. It goes a step further as other OnePlus devices such as the smartwatch or earbuds enjoy more tight and seamless connectivity with these smart TVs.
You can cast your content from a phone or a laptop on the TV as it has built-in support for Chromecast. In terms of connectivity, the OnePlus TV Y1S series gets dual-band Wi-Fi with 5GHz band support. Using the Smart Manager, users can control many of the smart TVs functions such as system speed, freeing up storage space, among many other things. The TVs also offer a kids mode that allows you to add parental restrictions for certain apps and set limits for children's playtime. You can enable this feature with the Oneplus connect app.
But, there are some key differences. Both the 32 and 43-inch sizes have different resolutions. The former packs an HD resolution, whereas, the latter packs a full HD resolution panel. Also, the OnePlus TV Y1S gets 20W full-range stereo speakers, while the OnePlus TV Y1S Edge gets 24W full-range stereo speakers. The Y1S Edge is certified by TUV Rheinland for low blue emission for safer viewing.
