The Epic Games Store will offer up a free computer game every day until January 1, 2020 during its holiday sale, and up to 75% off other games in the store. Epic Games is the creator of "Fortnite," and players of that game can use their login to get into the digital storefront, as well.
You can log into the Epic Games Store today to claim a free copy of "Into the Breach," a tactical strategy game that pits giant robots against Godzilla-style monsters.
A new free game will be available every day at 11am ET until the sale ends on January 1, 2020. Each free game is only available for 24 hours, so you'll have to login daily to claim all 12. Logging into the Epic Games Store during the holiday sale will also give you a $10 coupon towards any purchase of $15 or more.
The Epic Games Store launched in late 2018 and now offers a curated library with dozens of computer games for Windows and Mac. The Epic Games Store charges video game publishers a 12% cut on every transaction, compared to the standard 30% rate found in digital marketplaces like Apple's App Store, Google Play, and Steam, the most popular computer gaming store.
