Immigrant entrepreneurs are a driving force behind many of America's tech startups. But it can be hard for them to get to the US in the first place and find the right resources to help them.
The US immigration system is an alphabet soup of visas. Many aspiring entrepreneurs arrive as international students on F-1 visas. They might get hired at a tech company, extend their stay through OPT and, if they're lucky, win the lottery for an H-1B visa. Those with "exceptional abilities" may be eligible for an O visa, and deep-pocketed investors can apply for an E visa.

Potential nominees might have secured a rare legal status for their client, like "parole" under the newly reinstated International Entrepreneur Rule. Or, the lawyer could have a high hit-rate of bringing in high-skilled foreign workers for a hyper-growth company.
