Samsung introduces India to a TV with over ₹1 crore price tag

Samsung has launched its Micro LED TV, which it says is one of a kind in India. It’s not just the size or technology that helps the TV to stand apart, it’s also the price tag.

The Samsung Micro LED TV has been priced at ₹1,14,99,000 in India. The TV will be available from select retail stores and Samsung Online Store starting from today.

After seeing the price, you must be wondering what makes it so special. The TV features 24.8 million micrometre-sized ultra-small LEDs, which are reportedly one-tenth the size of regular LEDs. It also uses sapphire material, which is the second hardest material on earth.

The Micro LED technology comprises Micro LED, Micro Contrast, Micro Colour, Micro HDR, and Micro AI Processor, which work cohesively to offer high-end picture purity that human eyes can see.

Samsung claims that its TV offers outstanding details, lifelike colour representation, sharp contrast and AI-upscaling. It comes with OTS Pro, Dolby Atmos and Q-Symphony to handle the audio.

The TV that comes closest to this price tag in India is another Samsung product. The Wall is an ultra-premium TV with a 292-inch display is priced at ₹88 lakh.
