Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 design – simple and sturdy
Samsung has kept things simple with the design of the Galaxy Tab S7. It comes in a full metal build with a brushed aluminum feel. For an 11-inch tablet, it feels sturdy in the hands and weighs 500 grams.
The bezels are slim enough to get out of your way and wide enough to allow you to hold the tablet properly. The bundled S Pen attaches itself on the back, just below the camera module. The branding is minimal, which ensures the design is distraction-free.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 display – buttery smooth and vivid
The Galaxy Tab S7 features an 11-inch TFT display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This high refresh rate ensures that the user experience is buttery smooth, especially when it comes to scrolling and animations. It adds a lot of value to the overall user experience.

Apart from that, I found the display to be bright and vivid enough. The viewing angles are excellent, so whether you want to watch videos, read a book, or use productivity apps, the user experience is good.Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 performance – as fast as it gets
The Galaxy Tab S7 is powered by the latest flagship chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 865+. This is paired with 6GB memory and 128GB storage. It runs on Android 10 with Samsung’s custom skin – One UI – on top.
The pure specs don’t matter if the user experience isn’t good. Android tablets have usually been underwhelming due to a bad combination of hardware and software.
However, Samsung has been working on improving its Android tablets for a long time now. It has refined its custom skin to a great extent, surpassing almost every other company out there.
The result – the Galaxy Tab S7 is Samsung’s finest tablet yet, rivaling the iPad Pro in many areas. From software optimized for the tablet experience to enhanced productivity thanks to DeX, Samsung has come a long way.

DeX is a feature that offers a desktop-like experience, including running applications in separate windows simultaneously. You can connect a keyboard via the dock or Bluetooth to convert the Galaxy Tab S7 into a mini laptop of sorts to enhance your productivity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 accessories – S Pen and keyboard dock
The Galaxy Tab S7 comes with the S Pen bundled in the box. Samsung has improved the sensitivity and performance this time. In real-world usage, the S Pen proved to be very useful for taking notes quickly. It also supports air gestures, but it takes some effort to get them right.
Additionally, you can also purchase the keyboard dock separately. It comes with a full QWERTY layout and also has a touchpad. It can be useful if you have to type a lot.
Conclusion
The Galaxy Tab S7 is Samsung’s finest tablet so far. Samsung has combined the best hardware available right now with Android and its own custom skin – together, it makes for great user experience.
