Xiaomi on Monday launched the Redmi Pad Pro 5G, the company’s latest tablet in India. The new tablet from Xiaomi has been also launched in an affordable Wi-Fi variant along with the 5G variant.

The Redmi Pad Pro and Redmi Pad Pro 5G offer the same specifications, with the Redmi Pad Pro missing out on 5G connectivity. The Redmi Pad Pro 5G will take on the likes of the OnePlus Pad Go in the Indian tablet market.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G price and availability

The Redmi Pad Pro is available in a single 6GB RAM with a 128GB internal storage variant with a price tag of ₹21,999. It comes in Mist Blue and Graphite Gray colour options.

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is priced at ₹24,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage variant and ₹26,999 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. It comes in Quick Silver and Graphite Gray colour options.

The tablet will go on sale from August 2 from the Xiaomi Online Store, Amazon India, Flipkart and Xiaomi retail stores across the country.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G specifications

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G runs on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s HyperOS on top. It features a 12.1-inch 2.5K IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support.

The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. It is available in two variants – 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage. The Wi-Fi variant comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

It features an 8MP primary camera with 4K recording support and comes with an 8MP selfie camera with 1080p video recording support.

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G comes with a huge 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charge support. The device features four speakers and comes with Dolby Atmos support.

The company has also announced a Smart Pen, a Keyboard and a cover for the device, which can be purchased separately.

The Smart Pen is priced at ₹3,999, the Keyboard is priced at ₹3,999 and the cover is priced at ₹1,499.
