OnePlus Pad is rumoured to launch in India by June with a ₹35,000 price tag

OnePlus has expanded its product portfolio with multiple categories added on in recent years, and now it’s rumoured that the company might soon add a tablet to the mix — speculated to be the OnePlus Pad. OnePlus is being reported to have started mass production in Eurasian and European countries. Rumours suggested that the OnePlus Pad will launch sometime in June and take on the latest iPad and Samsung Galaxy tablets.

Earlier this month, the OnePlus Pad rumours shed some light on the price and features in China. Now, specifications and prices for India have been revealed.


Rumoured OnePlus Pad specification and features

In terms of specifications, the OnePlus Pad might feature a 12.4-inch Full HD+OLED display with up to a refresh rate of 120Hz. It may sport a side fingerprint sensor with Bluetooth 5.1 support and a 3.5mm audio jack. According to leaks, the OnePlus Pad will come with a Snapdragon 865 chipset.

On the camera front, it is said to have a dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary camera, 5MP secondary, and 8MP front camera. It will be packed with a 10,090mAh battery that can support 45W fast charging.

OnePlus Pad launch date and price

We are yet to receive any confirmation regarding the launch date and price. But as per rumours. OnePlus can launch its Pad by June as it has entered mass production. The leak suggests that the OnePlus Pad price could start around CNY 2999 (₹35,970) for the 6GB 256GB model.

OnePlus Pad might share some traits with the Oppo Pad

We should note that rumours about the OnePlus Pad came after the launch of the Oppo Pad. Oppo’s tablet features a 10.95-inch display and is powered by an octa-core processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage.

Given that Oppo and OnePlus joined forces in 2021, it might be safe to say that the company may pick some elements from the Oppo Pad and we might see them on the OnePlus Pad. However, take this speculation with a pinch of salt are the details are still scarce.
