Netflix to host its first global fan event ‘TUDUM’ to showcase exclusives, first looks

Netflix is hosting its first-ever virtual global fan event on September 25. The event is titled “TUDUM” which is literally the sound you hear first when you open Netflix. It will be a three-hour event showcasing exclusives and first looks of Netflix series, films and specials. The event will also feature stars and creators from around the world representing over 70 series, films and specials.

The Netflix Tudum event will be live-streamed on September 25 at 9 am PST which is 9:30 pm IST for viewers in India. It will be broadcasted on Netflix’s YouTube channels globally, Twitter and Twitch as well. Netflix will broadcast the event in different languages. You can tune in a little earlier at 5:30 pm for special pre-shows that will highlight Korean and Indian series and films along with anime content. These pre-shows will be broadcasted on specific channels such as Netflix Anime, Netflix Japan, Netflix Asia, Netflix Korea, Netflix The Swoon, and Netflix India.

In addition to exclusives and first looks, the Netflix Tudum will also feature new trailers, interactive panels and conversations among the stars and creators. Netflix has also revealed the full list of series, films and specials that will be featured at the event. The list includes popular shows like Stranger Things, Sex Education, The Umbrella Academy, The Witcher, Money Heist and Cobra Kai. You can find the full list here.

Netflix is also inviting viewers to co-stream the Tudum event on Facebook, Twitch and YouTube. Interested people can co-stream and react to the event in real time. Netflix will also offer music and content from the event for co-stream use for a period of three months. So those who are interested can head on to the Netflix Tudum and register to co-stream the event.
