In the far corner of India’s national capital New Delhi, a robot is helping coronavirus patients keep in touch with their friends and family when stuck in isolation. Dubbed Mitra, the humanoid robot, has been deployed at the Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital in Noida Extension.
Mitra may be the most advanced humanoid robot that we have seen so far in India to cater to the needs of coronavirus patients, but it's not alone in its mission.
Hospitals in other parts of the country like Tamil and Gujarat are also using robots to keep the quarantine process as contact-less as possible.
