JioGamesCloud gaming service is available in beta for the public — here’s how to sign up & play

After making its way into the 5G world, Jio is now venturing in the cloud gaming service. The company has launched JioGamesCloud beta version for the public.

The JioGamesCloud was announced three years ago at the Reliance AGM event, now, this Indian cloud gaming service attempts to bring high-quality titles to its platform, including Kingdom Come Deliverance, Saints Row IV, and many more.

Interested users can sign up for the JioGamesCloud beta and test out different games from its catalog across web browsers, JioGames Android App, and JioFiber set-top box. Games are available to play instantly without downloading, installing, and updating.

Here’s how you can sign up for JioGamesCloud-
  1. Visit the official website JioGamesCloud.
  2. Tap on the ‘Get Started’ tab on the home page.
  3. Once you tap on ‘Get Started’, it will ask you to choose a device- smartphone, desktop, and set-top box. Choose one to continue.
  4. Then a new window will pop up where you have to enter your mobile number for OTP.
  5. Once you enter OTP, you are all set to go.
Like any other cloud gaming service, performance and load time depend entirely on your internet connection.

Business Insider India tested out JioGamesCloud on a web browser, and it ran smoothly with full HD graphics on a 4G network.

JioGamesCloud is available for free, even for those with a Vi or Airtel phone number. Though, later on, we would expect it to be available on a subscription basis similar to Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus.

System requirements for playing on JioGamesCloud


You only need a good and stable internet connection to use the JioGamesCloud service. Currently, there are 50+ games available on the platform.

How to play games on JioGamesCloud?


Simply, login to JioGamesCloud and select the game, and tap on Play now. Games on Android will run on Wi-Fi or 5G and 4G connection with devices ranging between Android 5.0 to Android 13.0. In the JioGames app, JioGamesCloud is included as a new tab to find different games.
