In the new beta release, there is a “Macro Control” toggle in the camera section of the settings app that users can switch on manually. The description of the toggle reads, "Show Camera control for automatically switching to the Ultra Wide lens to capture macro photos and videos."
With the new update, users can tap on the little flower-shaped icon in the camera app to turn on Macro mode while clicking close-by objects. While this feature was introduced in the previous beta version, it has now been made clear with the addition of a description of the toggle.
In the Music App, users will now be able to search for tracks within a playlist. This feature was not available before and has been added as a fresh new update in the iOS 15.2 beta 3.
With the beta version, users can now rename or delete tags in bulk in the Reminders App.
With the new update, Apple highlights whether a game is from Apple Arcade in the Spotlight search. When you search for a particular Arcade game in Spotlight on your iPhone or iPad, it adds the Apple Arcade logo to inform users. This could have been done to promote games that are available via the Apple Arcade.
Apple has renamed the iCloud Private Relay toggle in the Cellular and Wi-Fi sections of the Settings app as "Limit IP Address Tracking". When turned off, it turns off the iCloud Private Relay for the cellular provider or the Wi-Fi network, as it did before. The key change here has been the wording of the iCloud Private Relay toggle.
According to the release notes from Apple, streaming in the Music app could result in higher CPU usage, causing faster battery drain in some scenarios. Another known issue as per the release is that “users who import a verifiable vaccination record aren't able to add it to the Wallet app, and the Health app may freeze.”
