How to automatically close tabs on your iPhone in Safari with iOS 13
1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Scroll or search for Safari in Settings.
4. Find the section labelled "Tabs" and select "Close Tabs."
5. The default will be manual. Select the period of time you'd prefer your tabs to close automatically.
For me, I knew I'd select the month option - my brain tends to meander, so I might still want the information I clicked on and wandered away from, even after a few weeks have passed.
But generally, for the sake of the performance of your iPhone, you should keep your browser tab clutter under control as much as possible. With iOS 13, there's now a perfectly customized solution.
