If you are a Google One subscriber, you can now access Portrait Blur, Colour Pop and more advanced editing tools on Photos web

Google One offers more than just a cloud storage subscription, it provides users with access to a range of photo enhancement tools on Google Photos. These tools include HDR, Portrait Light, and more, which were previously limited to the mobile app. However, Google recently announced via Twitter that these features will now also be available on the web version of Google Photos.Google One subscribers will be able to utilise various editing tools, such as Portrait Light, Portrait Blur, Color Pop, HDR enhancements, and more when using Google Photos on a desktop. The only prerequisites for accessing these features are a minimum of 4GB of RAM and a supported web browser.
If you are logged in with a Google One account, you will notice the following new editing options on photos.google.com:
Sky
Select from a variety of colour schemes and precisely adjust the colour and contrast of the sky.
HDR
Enhance the brightness and contrast levels throughout the entire image for a heightened visual impact.
Portrait Light

Colour Pop
Make the foreground colour pop by subtly, fading the background colour, in photos featuring people and creating a visually striking effect that draws attention to the individuals in the image.
Portrait Blur
Create a pleasing blurred background effect for non-portrait photos featuring people, adding depth and focus to the subjects while maintaining a visually appealing and professional look.
Access to these tools on Photos is granted to Google One subscribers at the Basic tier, which provides 100GB of cloud storage. As part of a promotional offer, the plan starts at ₹65 per month for 12 months, followed by ₹130 per month thereafter.
Previously, Google extended the Magic Eraser feature – which was exclusive to Pixel devices– to all Google One subscribers on mobile platforms, including Android and iOS. However, as of now, this feature has not been made available on the web version of Google Photos.
