- To take a screenshot on your Apple Watch, press the Digital Crown and side button simultaneously.
- By default, the screenshot feature is turned off. You'll have to turn it on in the General section of the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

Apple has always ensured it's possible to take screenshots on its various products, and the Apple Watch is no exception.
If you want to capture your watch's display as a screenshot, it takes just two fingers.
But since it's easy to do by accident, this feature is turned off by default. You'll have to start by enabling screenshots in the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

How to enable screenshots on an Apple Watch
1. On your iPhone, start the Apple Watch app.
2. Make sure you're on the My Watch tab by tapping "My Watch" at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap "General."

Taking a screenshot on the Apple Watch will be very familiar if you already know how to do it on an iPhone or iPad. Just press the Digital Crown and side button simultaneously.
You'll hear a click that sounds like a camera shutter, if your sound is turned on.

How to find your Apple Watch screenshots
After taking a screenshot, it's immediately stored on your iPhone in the Photos app. There are two ways to get to the screenshot.
- Open the Camera app and tap the Camera Roll in the bottom left corner. The screenshot should be the most recent image in the camera roll.
- Open the Photos app, tap "Albums" at the bottom of the screen, and then tap "Screenshots." It should be the most recent image there as well.
