It's easy to take a screenshot on an Apple Watch, but you'll have to enable the feature first.

Apple has always ensured it's possible to take screenshots on its various products, and the Apple Watch is no exception.

If you want to capture your watch's display as a screenshot, it takes just two fingers.

But since it's easy to do by accident, this feature is turned off by default. You'll have to start by enabling screenshots in the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

Here's how to do it.

How to find your Apple Watch screenshots

After taking a screenshot, it's immediately stored on your iPhone in the Photos app. There are two ways to get to the screenshot.

  • Open the Camera app and tap the Camera Roll in the bottom left corner. The screenshot should be the most recent image in the camera roll.
  • Open the Photos app, tap "Albums" at the bottom of the screen, and then tap "Screenshots." It should be the most recent image there as well.
