But if you’re someone who is constantly dealing with having to work with images then a much easier and faster tool can be helpful.

Google Chrome users can download and install an extension that works as a shortcut to resizing images. This way you don’t have to open another app or website just to resize images.

So if you’re looking for an easy and quick way to resize images, follow these steps.

Open Google Chrome and visit the web store.

You can find it on the top left corner of the browser under Apps.

Select the Web Store and type “Resizing app” in the search bar.

Download the Resizing App extension and add it to Chrome.


Once you’re done with this process, here’s what you need to do to start resizing images with this extension.

Click on the extensions icon next to your Google Chrome profile icon.

Select the Resizing App extension and a pop-up screen will appear.

Here, you will have to select the + icon to add an image.

Select the resize option from the drop-down menu and add the dimensions.

You can also optimise the image and save it as JPG, PNG, WEBP, BMP or TIFF.

The resized image will be saved on your laptop or desktop.
