How to download and send Christmas stickers on WhatsApp

Christmas is here and like all festivals, you need a way of sending holiday greetings to all your friends and family. One great way to do that is with stickers. They express your emotions and are easy to share. They also save you the time of having copy-paste greetings into each individual private or group chat.

WhatsApp offers several sticker packs for birthdays and different festivals -- and it’s no different if you want to use stickers to wish your friends and family a Merry Christmas.

How to download and send Christmas stickers on WhatsApp

Apart from the default stickers available on the app, you can also download addition stickers which are specific to Christmas.

• Open WhatsApp and go to the chat that you want to send the sticker to.
• Now, tap on the emoji face at the bottom left corner.
• Now click on the ‘Stickers’ button and you will be able to see the available sticker packs.
• Tap on the ‘+’ button at the top right corner of stickers window.
• Now, scroll to the bottom of the list and tap on ‘Get more stickers’.
• Search for Christmas stickers and select one from the available stickers.
• Download the sticker pack that you want to use.
• Now, the sticker pack will be available for use and you can send a Christmas sticker by tapping on the emoji face.

How to create personalized Christmas stickers

In addition to using the available sticker packs, you can create your own customized stickers.

If you have an Android smartphone, you can try apps like Sticker maker or Stickers for WhatsApp.

If you have an iPhone, you can try apps like Sticker Maker for WhatsApp! or Sticker Maker Studio.

Once you have any one of the sticker maker apps downloaded on your phone, follow these steps:

• Open the sticker maker app and tap on Create a new sticker pack option.
• Give a name to the sticker pack. You also have the option to enter your name.
• Now, tap on the name of the sticker pack. This will take you to a screen with 30 sticker tiles.
• On this screen, tap on any one of the tiles.
• Now, you will be asked to select an image. You can choose from your gallery or click a new photo.
• Once you’ve selected an image, you can crop it according to your needs. You can save up to 30 such images in a single sticker pack.
• Once all your images in the sticker pack are ready, you can add them to WhatsApp by tapping on the Add to WhatsApp button.
• Now, open a chat in WhatsApp and tap on the Emoji button in the text box. Now, tap on the Stickers icon. You should now see your personal WhatsApp sticker pack in the list.
