Microsoft recently released the Bing Image Creator, an AI-powered tool for making pictures on the Bing browser. It uses OpenAI's DALL-E deep learning model and allows people to create pictures based on their own ideas. You can give instructions to the AI in different languages, and Microsoft will add more languages later. The Bing Image Creator uses an upgraded version of OpenAI's DALL-E to create high-quality digital pictures, drawings, and paintings that look real based on your written instructions.

Bing Image Creator is free to use, to help you use the tool, we will explain how it works.

Use Bing Image Creator with these simple steps
  • Go to this link in your browser.
  • Sign in to your Microsoft account.
  • Type a description of the picture you want to see and click on the Create button.
  • After you type a description of the picture you want to see, wait for the AI to create it. Boosts can help speed up the process, but only a few are available each day for everyone. If you use up your boosts, it might take longer to create your picture. However, you can get more boosts by redeeming Microsoft Rewards.
  • After the process finishes, you'll see four pictures that match your description. Click on one to share, save, download, or give feedback. All of your recent creations will be saved by Bing Image Creator in the sidebar on the right side of the screen.
Note: If you don't like the pictures, Microsoft suggests using detailed prompts for the best results. For instance, rather than asking for a ‘creature,’ try describing a ‘fuzzy creature wearing sunglasses, digital art.’

Below are some examples of pictures made by Bing Image Creator using the prompts I provided.
