Google has showcased an artificial intelligence (AI) machine learning model that can identify and highlight medicines within handwritten prescriptions.

All you have to do is use your camera to scan a prescription or use an existing image of a prescription from your gallery.

The AI tool will then scan the prescription and identify the medicines written in it.

The tool will identify the medicines’ names and allow you to check the pronunciation, making it easier for you to share it with others.

The tool will also show you the description of the medicine, its side effects, composition, and more.

The AI tool is still under development and is not publicly available for users. Google has said it will soon share more details about a broader rollout.
