Samsung during the launch of its Galaxy S24 series highlighted one of its artificial intelligence (AI) features, Circle to Search, which allows users to easily search for anything that you see in a text, image or a video. Google has now announced that the Circle to Search will soon be available for other smartphones as well.The Circle to Search feature will be available for select premium smartphones, including the Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S24 series from January 31, 2024.
What is Circle to Search?
Circle to Search is an AI-powered feature that is part of Google Lens. It is a new way to search on your Android smartphone that enables users to search without switching applications.
It allows you to search for anything that you see on your screen by simply circling, scribbling or highlighting it. For example, if you are looking at a video and find a hat or a sunglass that you want to buy, all you need to do is launch the Circle to Search feature and circle the product.

How to use the Circle to Search feature
You can use the Circle to Search feature while using any application. All you need to do is follow the below steps:
- Open the text, image or video you want to search from.
- Now, long-press the home button or the navigation bar.
- Now, circle or scribble around the object or text you want to search.
- Once you are done, just swipe to close the box.
