Early attractions at CES 2023: Here are the best innovations and products from the biggest tech show

Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023, is one of the biggest tech events and like every year, it has kicked off with the start of the new year in Las Vegas. After two years of virtual shows, the event has come on ground to showcase the best innovative technologies and products.

Now that CES 2023 has kicked off, Business Insider India will be rounding up all the innovative and interesting tech and products that are worth your attention.

In the coming days, we will be able to see a wave of smart and innovative products at CES 2023. For now, here are some of the early showcases that we have seen till now.

Samsung Bespoke AI Oven

Cooking was the one area not influenced by AI but with Samsung’s new Bespoke AI Oven it has begun. The new AI oven from Samsung is capable of food recognition and burn detection, meaning this smart oven can recognize up to 80 different dishes and recommend cooking settings for each of them.

Also, this oven with AI capabilities can come handful for fitness enthusiasts as it can recommend meals based on your workout stats.

The Bespoke AI oven is currently available in Europe and will launch in the third quarter of 2023. The pricing is still unknown yet.

LG ArtCool Gallery air conditioner

Earlier, Sonos and IKEA build a speaker into a piece of wall art and LG has pulled the same trick with its new air conditioner. The LG’s new Artcool gallery air conditioner has a 27-inch LCD screen, which can display photos when sync in with the LG ThinQ app. It has a metallic rectangular shape that makes it more attractive.

It features a dual inverter compressor which apparently uses 70% less power when compared to traditional air conditioners. Other than this, it operates at low noise levels.

Withings U-Scan

U-Scan is a new health tracker launched at CES 2023 that explores ways of discovering renal lithiasis and bladder cancer. It can also predict your ovulation window, hydration levels and nutrient levels. Other than this, it comes loaded with a thermal sensor, which means it can apparently detect when someone is using it or not.

The U-Scan is a puck-like sensor that attaches to your toilet seat and it has a price tag of $499.95.

Project Leonardo - controller Kit for PlayStation 5

PlayStation has revealed a new accessibility controller kit for PS4 and its codename is Project Leonardo. The project Leonardo is designed to remove barriers of gaming for disabled. The controller will include swappable components, including a variety of analog sticks and buttons available in different shapes and sizes. Players can use these swappable components to create a wide array of control layouts as per their preference and restrictions.

Carbon nanotubes sensors

Developed by the University of Washington in collaboration with CoMotion, the Carbon nanotube sensors can detect the presence of human tissue up to 20 centimeters away. This technology will be used by Hyundai in cars for the gesture-controlled door handles, and gesture-controlled smart devices that can detect hand movements and translate them into commands.

Reusable breath test for Covid

Developed by Opteeve Technologies, ViraWarn is a reusable breath test for Covid and other viruses which can be used to detect flu and Covid with a simple breath test.

The devices use simple cartridges that need to be changed after a positive result. It is designed to give results within 60 seconds.

FRENZ Brainband

The FRENZ Brainband is an AI-powered headband by Earable that tracks and stimulates your brain for better sleep. The band uses 7-in-1 sensing technology to help you sleep more efficiently and deeply. The band also offer an enhanced sleep report, nap timing, and more.

German Bionic Apogee robotic exoskeleton

This smart robotic exoskeleton helps in creating a safe workplace with a fully-connected AI-based design. It is created for physical labour workers, as it can offset up to 66 pounds of load. Other than this, it can be used to protect your body if you are in a physically demanding job.
