Amazon Web Services has a new marketing chief.

On Monday, AWS's CEO Matt Garman told employees that the company has hired former SAP and Microsoft executive Julia White as its new chief marketing officer, according to an internal email obtained by Business Insider.

White was most recently the chief marketing and solutions officer at SAP. Before that, she spent almost 20 years at Microsoft in various roles, including corporate vice president for the Azure cloud computing unit.

White will replace Raejeanne Skillern, who will be leaving to spend more time with her family, the email said.

White is the newest addition to AWS's senior executive group. The company recently added Colleen Aubrey, Amazon's former advertising executive, as SVP of AWS Solutions, and Baskar Sridharan, an ex-Google Cloud VP, as VP of AI/ML services.

AWS has also seen a number of executive turnovers in the past year. Most notably, its former CEO, Adam Selipsky stepped down in May. Matt Wood, VP of AI, also left in October.

Here's the full email Garman sent to employees on Monday:
