The specifications of the Apple Watch Series 7 have been leaked via an alleged internal document. To recall, Apple announced the Watch Series 7 along with the iPhone 13 series, iPad mini and 9th iPad at the ‘California Streaming’ event on September 14. However, the company did not reveal detailed specifications of the Watch Series 7. Now, it seems like the specifications have slipped through an internal document. Detailed specifications of the Watch Series 7 were allegedly leaked by a user on Twitter. The document named Apple Watch—Then and Now, has brought out the detailed features of Watch Series 7 in comparison to Watch Series 7 and Watch SE. As per the document, the watch is powered by the S7 SiP chipset.
As per developer Steve Troughton Smith, the new chipset is a rebranded version of the S6 that powers its predecessor, the Watch Series 6. He claimed in a tweet that the reason Apple talked little about the Watch Series 7 processor CPU was because it was exactly the same as last year.
The document also provides us with details about the weight of the newly launched watches. For the aluminium version of the Watch Series 7, it weighs 38.8 grams for the 41mm and 45mm variants, respectively. The titanium version is a little heavier, weighing 42.3 grams and 51.5 grams.
It also tells us that the Apple Watch Series 7 may feature 32GB of onboard memory, similar to the Watch Series 6 and Watch SE.
