Apple’s Replay now includes stories like highlight reel that displays your music activity for the year. Each page includes an impressive animated transition with music playing in the background. Besides this, you can also see if you are top 100 listeners of a specific genre or artist. This feature is similar to Spotify’s Wrapped functionality that notifies users if they are one of the top listeners for a specific artist. Once you see your stats on Apple Music Replay, you can share them on messaging platforms and social media.
Talking about data privacy, Replay maintains Apple’s standard privacy throughout the experience. According to Apple, an individual user’s insights are never shared, sold, or used in marketing materials. The user can share their insights at their discretion if they choose.
No other Apple Music subscribers or employees can access their insights outside of their chosen snapshots at any time, said Apple.
To use Apple Music Replay, visit ‘replay.music.apple.com’ and log in with the same Apple ID you use for Apple Music. Once logged in, you can see the number of songs played in a year, including the top and most played songs.
Other than this, you will also see top-played artists, top playlists, and music stations.
Currently, Replay is localized in 39 languages for all 169 countries and regions where Apple Music is available.
