Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has announced the new 13-inch MacBook Pro in India amid the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. The new refresh comes just 10 months after the company had updated the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and True Tone display.The new 13-inch MacBook Pro replaces the existing Butterfly keyboard with the Magic keyboard that has a redesigned scissor mechanism with 1mm of key travel, a physical escape key, Touch Bar and TouchID. The Magic keyboard was first introduced with the 16-inch MacBook Pro.
Apple 13-inch MacBook Pro pricing and availability
The new 13-inch MacBook Pro has been priced starting at ₹1,22,990. The company has not revealed any information about the availability of the device. It will likely be available after the nationwide lockdown ends. Apple has mentioned that the device will soon be available from authorised Apple resellers.

Apple 13-inch MacBook Pro specifications
Apple has retained the 13.3-inch LED-backlit IPS display with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution for the new MacBook Pro. It features a Magic keyboard, Touch Bar and TouchID.

In terms of performance, the 13-inch MacBook Pro is available in four variants. The base variant is powered by 1.4GHz 8th-gen Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM and up to 512GB of SSD. The base variant features two Thunderbolt 3 ports.
The premium variant is powered by the new 2.0GHz 10th-gen Intel Core i5 processor with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB SSD. It features four Thunderbolt 3 ports and can support an external 6K display.
The 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro is equipped with Intel Iris Plus graphics which the company claims offers up to 80% faster graphics performance.
