A new Google Doodle series will be dedicated to health workers and researchers

- To honour the public health workers and medical researchers, Google dedicated a GoogleDoodle series on April 7.
- Last week, Google shared a message “stay home save lives” with the colourful Doodle on its homepage.
- In another initiative, Google Maps are helping people to find shelters and food locations in India.

Today, Google showed some much needed love to the healthcare workers and medical researchers who are working tirelessly during the Covid-19 epidemic. The animated doodle has ‘G’ throwing some love to ‘e’ which is working on research. This doodle today will be the start of a series that will be dedicated to those on the frontlines. “Starting today, we’re launching a #GoogleDoodle series to honour many of those on the front lines in the fight against #COVID19. Today’s Doodle is dedicated to the public health workers and researchers in the scientific community - on behalf of all of us, thank you,” said Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google shared the news on his Twitter handle.
“As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people are coming together to help one another now more than ever. We’re launching a Doodle series to recognize and honour many of those on the front lines. Today, we’d like to say: To all doctors, nurses, and medical workers, thank you,” Google said in its statement.
However, this is not the only initiative the software major has taken in times of epidemic. Last week, Google shared a message “stay home save lives” with the colourful Doodle on its homepage. It highlighted the importance of staying indoors in these hard times to save oneself and others from the spread of the deadly virus.
