Hobbiton, the original filming location in New Zealand for the "Lord of the Rings" and "Hobbit" movies, will be available to book for the first time on Airbnb.

Hobbiton is located in the Waikato region of New Zealand.      Airbnb

People can request to book a stay starting December 13 for NZD $10 ($6 in the US) per night at airbnb.com/hobbiton for one of three visits on either March 2 to March 4; March 9 to 11; and March 16 to 18.

According to the listing, the property is on a 2,500 acre working farm in New Zealand's Waikato region. Guests will get a private tour to experience the behind-the-scenes making of the movies.

People will stay at the two-bedroom Millhouse, which has been "transformed to accommodate four guests in a Hobbit-inspired home," curated by the movies' art director Brian Massey.
