- Facebook isn't policing Trump. Employees told the Washington Post this has impeded the firm's efforts to curb misinformation.
- A federal judge blocked Trump's TikTok ban. It was intended to go into effect on November 12, after the election.
- The New York Post can tweet again. Twitter had locked the outlet's account for publishing the Hunter Biden story, but faced backlash over its decision.
- Microsoft has embraced working from home. Documents reviewed by Business Insider detailed the firm's new "flexible" policy that allows employees to pick their own schedules.
- Huawei is getting into chips. Sources told the FT the firm will counteract US sanctions and start out making outdated chip models, then ramp up to start making state-of-the-art ones.
- Amazon donated to a vaccine misinformation organization. Popular Information discovered Amazon donates to the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) through its charity arm Amazon Smile.
- Yelp insiders say it's preying on small businesses. Since Yelp's offices closed due to the pandemic, calls haven't been recorded, prompting worries about a lack of oversight, sources told Business Insider.
- E-scooters are coming to New York City. The city plans to launch an e-scooter rental pilot program in March 2021.
- The Internet Archive is getting into fact-checking. The site is going to start adding fact-checks and context cards to screenshotted pages.
