Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is looking to start the new year with the launch of a new smartphone series in India. The company is set to launch the Xiaomi 11i series in the country on January 6.

The main highlight of the upcoming series is the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge, which will offer 120W fast charging to users. The Xiaomi 11i series is a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ that were launched in China earlier this year.

Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge expected price in India

According to a report by India Today, Raghu Reddy, Chief Business Officer, Xiaomi India has revealed that the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge will be priced between ₹25,000-₹30,000 in the country.

The device is expected to be available in Camo Green, Pacific Pearl, and Stealth Black color options in India. We expect the device to go on sale soon after the launch.

The Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge runs on Android 11 and comes with MIUI 12.5 skinned on top. It should get the MIUI 13 update in the first half of 2022.

The device features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1200nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It comes with a punch-hole notch display.

The Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Coming to the optics, the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge is equipped with a triple camera setup at the back with a 108MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide angle camera and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the device sports a 16MP selfie camera.

The Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge is powered by a 4,500mAh battery and comes with 120W fast charging support, which is claimed to charge the device from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes.

The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports 5G SA / NSA. Other features include 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and a USB Type-C port.
