Vivo X90 and X90 Pro take on the Galaxy S23 series and OnePlus 11 smartphones in India

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo today announced the launch of its latest flagship X90 series in India. The X90 series includes two smartphones, the vanilla Vivo X90 and the premium Vivo X90 Pro, the successors of the Vivo X80 series that was launched in India in 2022.The Vivo X90 series was launched in China in November 2022 and has finally made its way to India. The company had also launched the Vivo X90 Pro+ China, but there has yet to be any information about its India launch.
Vivo X90 and X90 Pro price in India
The Vivo X90 has been priced at ₹59,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant and ₹63,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant. It comes in Asteroid Black and Breeze Blue colour options.
The Vivo X90 Pro, on the other hand, is priced at ₹84,999 for the lone 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. It comes in a single Legendary Black colour option.
Both devices will be available from Flipkart, Vivo online store, and the company’s authorised retailers across the country from May 5.

Vivo X90 and X90 Pro specifications
The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ Q9 OLED HDR10+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming. Both the devices run on Android 13 out of the box with the company’s ColorOS 13 skin on top.
The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro smartphones are equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset. While the X90 comes in 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage options, the X90 Pro is offered in a single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option.
Coming to the camera department, both the devices come with Vivo-ZEISS co-engineered imaging system.
The Vivo X90 features a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50MP primary camera with Sony IMX866 sensor, OIS, VCS bionic spectrum, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 12MP portrait camera with 2x zoom.

On the other hand, the Vivo X90 Pro comes with a 50MP primary camera with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, a 12MP Sony IMX663 ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 50MP Sony IMX758 portrait sensor.
Both the devices feature a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.45 aperture.
While the Vivo X90 is powered by a 4,810mAh battery with 120W fast charging, the Vivo X90 Pro is equipped with a slightly bigger 4,870mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
