Vivo V29e targets the selfie conscious in the sub-₹30,000 bracket

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has announced the launch of its latest mid-range smartphone, the Vivo V29e in its V29 series in India. One of the highlights of the device is its colour changing glass design, which is offered in two colour options.Apart from this, the Vivo V29e also features a 50MP selfie camera and a dual camera setup at the back.
Vivo V29e price and availability
The Vivo V29e has been priced at ₹26,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant and ₹28,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant. The device comes in Artistic Red and Artistic Blue colour options and will be available from Vivo Online Store, Flipkart and the company’s authorised retail stores from September 7.
Vivo V29e specifications
The Vivo V29e runs on Android 13 out of the box with the company’s Funtouch OS 13 on top. The smartphone features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits brightness.

The V29e is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset coupled with the Adreno 619L GPU. It comes in two memory variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage.
Coming to the camera department, the Vivo V29e features a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 64MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, the device sports a 50MP auto-focus camera for selfies and video calling.
The Vivo V29e is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The device comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and supports 5G SA/NSA. The device supports Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.1 and comes with a USB Type-C port.
