It has been a year of smartphone launches in India. Every month, several smartphones are announced in the country, spoiling customers for choice. Companies like Oppo, Huawei and Infinix are among the companies that are expected to launch a few more in March, in India.
In this post, we will look at the smartphones that will be launched or will go on sale in the month of March in the country.
Upcoming smartphones in March 2020
Samsung Galaxy S20 series
Samsung had launched the Galaxy S20 at its Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this month. Soon after the launch, the company announced the Indian pricing and availability of the Galaxy S20 series. The Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and the Galaxy S20 Ultra are currently available for pre-booking and will go on sale in India from March 6.
iQoo 3
iQoo 3, the second 5G ready smartphone in India will also be available starting from March 4 in the country. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset and features a quad camera setup at the back. Customers will be able to choose from two 4G variants and a 5G-ready variant.
Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro
Realme is all set to announce the Realme 6 and the Realme 6 Pro in India on March 5. The two devices will feature quad rear cameras, punch-hole selfie cameras, 90Hz refresh display and 30W fast charge support.
The company also announced Bollywood actor Salman Khan as its brand ambassador.
Oppo Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro
Oppo is expected to launch the Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro in India on March 2. The company had announced the devices in China in December, but the global variants are expected to be slightly different. The Reno 3 Pro is expected to feature a dual-punch hole design.
The Oppo Reno 3 Pro is expected to be priced around ₹30,000 in India.
Infinix S5 Pro
Infinix is all set to launch its budget device, the Infinix S5 Pro in India. The company has revealed that the device will feature a pop-up selfie camera, which will be a first in the segment. The device is expected to feature a triple camera setup at the back and a 6.6-inch display.
The Infinix S5 Pro is expected to be priced around ₹10,000 in India.
Oppo Find X2
Oppo was expected to announce the Find X2 during the MWC 2020. However, as the Mobile World Congress 2020 was cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The company will now unveil the device in March.
The Oppo Find X2 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset and feature a 6.5-inch QHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to be equipped with the company’s 65W SuperVOOC fast charge technology.
Huawei P40
Huawei is expected to announce a flagship smartphone in its P series, dubbed as the Huawei P40 on March 26. The device is expected to feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and a triple camera setup at the back.
The device is expected to be powered by a 5,500mAh battery with 50W fast charge support.
