Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite could be priced to compete with OnePlus 7T in India

Samsung introduced the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy Note 10 Lite last week. As the name suggests, they are toned-down versions of the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy Note 10 respectively. While Samsung has not revealed the India launch details of both the smartphones, a few reports suggest that it will come to India next month.As per a report by IANS, the Galaxy S10 Lite will be launched in India in the first week of February. It’s not clear yet if the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will also be launched at the same event.
The Galaxy S10 Lite will take on OnePlus
As per the report, the Galaxy S10 Lite will be priced between ₹40,000 to ₹45,000 in India. Samsung could announce a few launch offers that could bring down the effective price further.
At present, the premium smartphone segment in India is dominated by OnePlus. Samsung could price the Galaxy S10 Lite strategically to help it compete better with the OnePlus 7T which now starts at ₹34,999.

The Galaxy S10 Lite is powered by a 4,500mAh battery and comes with 25W fast charge support. Connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
