A report from MySmartPrice has revealed that the Galaxy Fold 2 will be powered by the slightly dated Snapdragon 855 chipset. While it is a powerful chipset, it is the same one that powered the original Galaxy Fold. The report also mentions that the device will feature a 10-megapixel selfie camera similar to the Galaxy Note 10.
Samsung Galaxy Fold 2: Everything we know so far
The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to feature a clamshell design. The device is expected to feature a 6.7-inch foldable display and a 1-inch cover display.
The device is expected to feature a 10-megapixel selfie camera. As per the initial renders, the Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to feature a centrally positioned punch-hole like the Galaxy Note 10.
As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy Fold 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset and the company may not launch an Exynos variant of the device.
Galaxy S20, Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 India production
Tipster Ishaan Agarwal also revealed that Samsung started the production of the Galaxy S20 4G, S20+ 4G, Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A71. This means that the company will likely not launch the 5G variants of the Galaxy S20 series in India. This was much expected as the 5G infrastructure is not ready in India - and the spectrum is yet to be auctioned by the government.
