Samsung launches Galaxy A54 and A34 5G with 120Hz display, sleek design and improved night photography

Samsung is on a roll. The brand last month made headlines with its flagship S23 series smartphones. While the hype for the line-up is still prominent, especially for the S23 Ultra, the brand launched two new devices - the Galaxy A54 5G and the Galaxy A34 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy A series is known for providing feature-packed and aggressively priced phones in the mid-range segment. And, if we see on paper, the Galaxy A54 5G and A34 5G is building up on the legacy.


Samsung Galaxy A54 5G

The Galaxy A54 5G has a 6.4-inch FHD+ super AMOLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. The display also features Samsung’s vision boost technology. In India, the smartphone is powered by Exynos 1380 SoC. On the software front, it comes with Android 13 out of the box paired with Samsung’s One UI 5.1 skin. It also features Samsung’s Knox security.

The optics on the smartphone are interesting, with a triple camera set-up on the back. The primary camera is a 50MP sensor paired with a 5MP macro sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, we have a 32MP selfie camera. The smartphone packs a 5000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.


Galaxy A54 5G will be available in four color options - Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, and Awesome Violet.

The Galaxy A34 features a 6.6-inch FHD+ super AMOLED display with a max refresh rate of 120Hz. A34 also features Samsung’s vision boost technology. Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. You get Android 13 out of the box with Samsung’s One UI 5.1 skin. A34 is also protected with Samsung’s Knox security. The primary camera is a 48MP sensor paired with a 5MP macro sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. The selfie camera is a 13MP shooter. The smartphone packs a 5000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.


Galaxy A34 5G will be available in four color options - Awesome lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Silver.
